Decorating the Tree

The day after Thanksgiving we put up our tree. This is my first official year of joining in the fun! When I got up from my nap, Mommy and Daddy had the tree up! It was amazing! I'm glad Mommy waited for me to put the ornaments on. And I got my new ornament for the year! Each year Mommy and Daddy get us a new ornament. Grandma started that tradition when Mommy was little. Now, we do it! This year I got an icecream cone! Grant got little blue baby shoes. Because he's still a little guy though, he didn't get to participate in putting it on. Mommy did it for him. I did a great job in placing all the ornaments together near the bottom. I didn't want them to get lonely. However, it seemed that every time I turned back around they weren't together. I guess they were loners and didn't enjoy togetherness. I would. But, oh well. Now that the tree is up and decorated, my special job is to turn it on and off. I just step on a button and PRESTO! the lights turn on! I love it!

Gettin' Some Love

I love being held. Yes, if Mommy could hold me every minute of the day, I would be so happy. But, that just can't happen. However, it can happen if we're around a lot of family and friends and if I'm in the mood to be held by someone other than Mommy (which is becoming more rare these days). I did get me some lovin' from Grandmama at Thanksgiving. I gave her a hard time for a bit but there were moments of sweetness as well. There's just something about my Mommy these days that makes me want to ALWAYS be by her side. I heard Hannah went through this as well. But there's hope. Now, when we go see our grandparents Hannah wants nothing to do with Mommy. Give me several more months...then I'll be brave enough to breakaway from Mommy. For now though, I'm perfectly content to get most of my lovin' from Mommy.

Aunt Bethany and Grandmama

Here I am enjoying time with Grandmama and Aunt Bethany. I sure do like going up to Grandmama and Grandaddy's house because I get a lot of attention from everyone there! I love you guys!

My Very First Thanksgiving

Well, it was my first Thanksgiving and all in all, I think it was a hit. I got to hang out with Grandmama and Grandaddy and Maw-Maw. I also got to see Aunt Bethany and Uncle Tim. Aunt Bethany's family came too. It was a full house! I did some nappin' while I was there but I was able to join the table for a bit of Thanksgiving fun. I really enjoyed playing with the toys on the floor. Hannah kept taking those balls from me. I don't think she realized just how much I love those balls. I made sure I kept my eyes on them. I wanted to be the first one to them if she dropped them.

On another note. . . today was our Monday Madness (that's what I call it because madness it is. I mean, I barely get in a morning nap on these days due to the grocery shopping). Mommy wanted me to point out a few of our deals that she was so pleased to have found. At CVS we took advantage of the Huggies deal. We bought two packs of diapers and three containers of wipes for about $22. Not too bad. But, better than that, we got Similac formula for $12!! That was a steal!

Three highlights from our trip to Walmart: We got TWO bags of Green Valley Steamers frozen veggies for .25 each! Hannah got her own special Dora the Explorer yogurt 6 pack (something she NEVER gets) for .77! Finally, we got two boxes of Betty Crocker instant potatoes for about .17 each! Mommy found these deals thanks to a few of the blogs she visits.

Those were our best deals of the day. And we managed to stay under our $100 budget..with two packages of diapers and formula!

Me and Maw-Maw

Here's a first of many Thanksgiving pictures. I was so happy I got to see my great-grandma aka Maw-Maw. We shared some special times. Thanks for playing with me Maw-Maw! I love you!

Pretty Ballerina...and Musical Balls

Well, we've been posting a lot lately so we can try to catch up. Thanksgiving was over a week ago and we have yet to say, "Happy Thanksgiving." Phew. Blogging is hard work. So let's get rolling...fitting for this post huh? Friends from church gave me this beautiful ballerina costume. Isn't it something? I love to wear it. I also enjoy performing on my ball with it. For those of you who read this and perhaps went to middle school with Mommy and participated in P.E, the words Musical Balls may ring a bell. Mommy says this would be a perfect ad to promote musical balls. However, she does not want to encourage me to participate in Musical Balls. For those of you unfamiliar with Musical Balls that's good. It means your physical education was focused on just that...physical activity...not bouncing balls to music in the locker room. I don't know what all that means...I'm just the messenger. I do know, however, that Mommy will not be enrolling me in rhythmic gymnastics, perhaps the only fruit born out of Musical Balls.

Congratulations Ellie! Welcome to the Club!

Ellie is officially in the Big Sister Club. Not only is she in the Big Sister Club, but she's also in the Big Sister of a Baby Brother Club! That's right folks, a week and a half ago Ellie's baby brother, Nolan, came into this world. I coached Ellie on all she needed to know about being a big sister. We even wore our big sister shirts to show our pride in our baby brothers. We think Nolan and Gant will be best friends just like Ellie and I are! On behalf of Big Sisters of Baby Brothers, I, Hannah Harman, welcome you, Ellie Roberts (we have the Vice President position open and I would be so happy to grant you that seat in our club...just let me know).

Wow....That's All I Can Say....Wow

Wow...who knew life could be so much more exciting when you sit up? I mean, come on, who knew this train was here? I didn't! This thing is amazing. It plays songs when you push it. It moves. I can put other things inside it! Wow...that's all I can say...wow. Life has definitely gotten much more interesting around here lately.

Washing the Car

Last week Daddy let me help wash his truck! I did a great job. . .especially thanks to my rainboots from Gandma. I worked the low parts...since I'm short....while Daddy scrubbed the higher parts. I think Daddy was really grateful for my help.

Shakin' It!

I love to shake my head. Especially at the table when I've eaten messy food where the majority of it has ended up on my face instead of in my tummy. I like to just swing my hair from side to side while plastering it in the food. It makes for some happy times later when Mommy has to comb those tangles out. But it's worth it...oh the exhiliration of swinging my head at lightening speed...there's nothing like it.

Go (you fill in the blank) Go!

Mommy and I like to do a little jive together. We like to cheer for our family members. I enjoy it so much. Here we are cheering for Ashey and Maggie and some other dear family members. Notice Gant in the background. He seems to be mesmerized by my cheering. Before long we'll add some real groovy moves to our cheers. I know you won't want to miss that. And please, excuse my messy face. We seem to do our best singing, chanting after a messy meal. The meal at this sitting...lots of yummy yogurt. And if you'd like your name chanted on our blog...just leave us a message. We'd love to cheer for you.

Inconspicuous

I'm trying to be inconspicuous here. I didn't want to frighten Mommy. I think there's something over there. Instead of crying...I chose to be brave. I had to keep a close eye on the possible threat to our home. It may require action. However, it didn't cross my mind at that moment that I'm not a whole lot of "action." I can't really move from point a to point b without assistance. Well, glad it was just a leaf.

Feelin' the Breeze

Oh my ball machine...what a joy it is. I no longer enjoy it for it's intended use...watching the balls jump out sporadically. Nope. Instead, I find myself drawn to the air that forces the balls out of the machine. I love to feel it whip through my hair. It's invigorating. I feel as though I'm out on the beach (I talk about the beach A LOT although I've never been). At least, that's what I envision the beach feeling like. I yell to Mommy, "Watch Mommy!" and laugh and laugh as the air collides into my face. If ever you're over, I'll let you try. I'm convinced you'll go out and buy one of your own. You'll never be the same.

Oh the Craziness!

Let's talk about craziness. I'm all about it these days. . .whether I'm eating a pear or just swinging my head around while jumping in the air. Who else is into craziness? Mommy. and. CVS. First of all, Mommy is into craziness because today she woke Grant up out of a sound nap. CRAZY. Then, she threw us in the car saying we're going to CVS. On Friday? Well, since I'm into craziness I was excited to go to "CBS." In fact, I thought we passed it several times only to be corrected by Mommy. Those are warehouses (yes we live around a lot of warehouses) . Well, we made our way into CVS. I squealed...A LOT. I had to be quiet. Gant was perfect. And Mommy. . .she was crazy. She kept going down aisles looking at coupons, looking at a flyer and then beaming from ear to ear. You see, here's what she put in our cart: a bottle of shampoo, two tubes of toothpaste, a box of tampons, and 2 20 oz. Gatorades (Daddy said the other day how he'd love a Gatorade). Nothing too crazy right? Well, here's the CRAZY part. Mommy only paid $1.66 and walked out with $6 more for our next trip! CRAZY! So, crazy works. It works for Mommy. It works for me. We're still trying to figure out how it works for "CBS."

I'm 6 Months Old!

Last Thursday I turned 6 months old! Here I am posing like a little stud. Mommy thinks my head looks a little big. I don't know, what do you think? We never get the percentages on my head circumference. But, nonetheless, I know Mommy still thinks I'm her handsome guy cuz she tells me all the time. We stuck a picture of Hannah on here when she was 6 months. Mommy was going to make me hold a sign like she did but I said no way. I'm not into that. Just let me show off my killer smile. That's all I need. Oh and I go see the doc next week. We'll give you the updates then.

Sittin' Tall

Over the past week I have learned to sit up all by myself! What a new world it is! Mommy doesn't even have to help me anymore! Now, I do wobble here and there and experience a few tumbles, but I'm a tough guy and just roll with the punches (not really punches, Mommy and Daddy don't punch me...it's just a figure of speech). Hannah does laugh at me when I fall over. But, if I'm being honest, I believe she thinks I'm just playing around. I don't think she means to be cruel. She's not that kind of sister.

Sibling Love

Mommy decided to take some more shots of us together. However, it seems it's quite the impossible task to get us both to smile and look at the camera at the same time.

I'm a Big Kid Now!

Look what I can do now! I can sit at the table in a booster seat! No more meals in my blue bouncey. Now I can enjoy those nasty peas and squash at the table. I'm such a big boy!

It's Ba-ack!

Here I am doing so serious swinging...watch out!

So Grandma came and visited last week and with her returned this jumping seat. No, Grandma wasn't using it for those of you who misread that. It's our cousins but they let us borrow it. Hannah used to ride in it. It's a blast. It's a blast from the past for Hannah too who talked Daddy into letting her ride in it. That was short lived though. So now it's all mine to enjoy. And boy, do I enjoy it. I've gotten quite tired of being on my blanket or swing. Thanks Sandersons for letting me enjoy it!
