The Chronicles of Me and Maggie

Well, sit back, grab a drink and a snack and enjoy these SEVERAL pictures of me and Maggie. That was my favorite part about going to Statesboro...seeing my good pal Maggie. Hope you enjoy her as much as I did!

Maggie, Look at Me

Well, Maggie kept trying to steal my duck...much like Emmett does. So I had to sit her down and have a little talk with her. I looked her square in the eye and told her how much I cared for her but that she just couldn't keep stealing my duck. She has her own duck. I even got it for her. She seemed very understanding about the whole issue and agreed to just stick with her duck.
I'm glad we had this little talk Maggie.

A Relaxing Saturday Morning

Here we are just relaxing this Saturday morning. Maggie's enjoying the view while I'm enjoying my water. It feels good just to laze around sometimes doesn't it?

You Like My PJ's Maggie?

Maggie commented on how she like my PJ's. She was just curious as to where my feet went. So I was explaining to her that my feet were, in fact, still there...they were just covered by my PJ's. "They help keep my feet warm while I sleep," I said. "Row Ray," Maggie replied.

Kissy Kissy

So I thought Maggie needed a little kiss. So, with cup in hand, I leaned forward to give her a big smooch. I love you Maggie.

A Nice Pillow

Maggie sure does make a nice pillow. She's so soft and cushy. In fact, I fell right to sleep on her...well...not really but that would make for a good story here. Actually I was just giving her one of many hugs that day. I think Maggie likes it.

Such a Long Tail

Maggie has such a long tail...much longer than Emmett's. And, Maggie actually lets me touch her tail...unlike ol' Emmett. Nice tail Maggie....nice tail.

Is This How You Do It?

So I wanted to try to lay like Maggie...with my bottom toward the back of the chair and my head toward the front. This was the best I could do. What do you think? Maggie told me I need to try a little harder...my arms need to be sticking out forward. But she said it wasn't bad for a first timer.

Playing the Doggy Drums

And finally, here I am pretending Maggie is a drum. She seemed to enjoy the several pats I would give her. But I just wasn't getting a good beat. Oh well! Thanks Maggie anyways!

I can't wait to see you next time!

One of Those Days

Have you ever had "one of those days?" I have. In fact, I am having one right here. I was tired, dirty, and frustrated. In fact, I was so frustrated that I kept pulling my hair. But then, my hands were so sticky from the watermelon I had eaten that I had a difficult time getting my hands out of my hair. Mom said it was as if I had my own sculpting gel because of my sticky hands. So, I can emphathize with you out there if you are having "one of those days" today. Here's my advice: Take a nice warm bath with your favorite toy (mine's my rubber duck of course) and then have some warm milk afterwards and then just hit the hay. It relaxes me almost all the time!

Grandma and Papa with Kyle

Here's Grandma and Papa with Kyle! I remember when I was just a little tyke...just fresh out of the womb...and they held me! It's hard to believe almost a year has passed! They sure look proud of their first GRANDSON! Finally...a boy in the Hart family!

Kyle and His Family

Here's Kyle with his whole family. That's my Aunt Melissa, (she's the one who had him), then there's Uncle Sean, and my cousin Allie. Don't they make such a cute family? Thanks guys for sharing the photos! We just can't wait to see him for real! Oh and get this...ol' Kyle weighed in at a whopping 9 lbs. 9 ounces! That's what I weighed when I was two months! He'll be passing me REAL soon when it comes to his weight...but then again...who doesn't??

My New Cuz

Hi! Guess what? Today, September 4th, 2007, my fourth cousin was born! His name is Kyle Matthew Sanderson! I haven't gotten to meet him yet but mommy and I are taking a trip this weekend to see him. I can't wait to show him the ropes in this thing called life. He sure is cute isn't he? We'll make sure to get some great pictures when we go this weekend! Keep checking in!

A Good Friend

This is my new friend CJ. He comes over three times a week. I love every minute of it! Just look what he does! He pushes me around in his walker! It's such a wild and exciting ride. I never know what to expect! He's really good at what he does! I think I'm actually the one who's supposed to do the work but this seems better! CJ, you're gonna be a good friend!

Stopping for a Quick Picture

Admist all the fun, mommy insisted we stop for a quick picture. So, even though we weren't thrilled to, we decided to comply. I told CJ this was normal and to just go with it.

Checkin' Things Out

CJ was wondering if his daddy was here yet so I said, "Just push me over to the window and I'll check things out for you ol' buddy." And that he did. He's a real smart guy! But no daddy yet.

An Unhappy Rider

Well, CJ decided to take a short break...I don't know why! And I was unhappy about that. Mommy said I could get it to move on my own by just moving my feet but I wasn't real pleased with that idea. I mean, why work when someone else will do the work for you? Mommy thinks I may just be a high maintanance gal!

As Fast As Lightening!

I made sure mommy put this one in so you could see how fast we were going...we were going SO FAST that sometimes all you could see was a big blur on the camera! Yeeee Hawww!! Go CJ Go!

Grandaddy's Pick

Well, you'll never guess who picked out this fine looking dress.....Grandaddy!! I've actually had it for awhile and I have been bugging mommy to let me wear it. She just didn't feel like ironing it. But, after much persuading, she finally decided to bite the bullet and do it. So, this past Sunday I was the "Belle of the Ball" in my fashionable dress. Please make sure you see the fine detailing with the pink sash that wraps around my waist to form a dainty bow in the back. Grandaddy, you wouldn't believe how many compliments I received on this dress. I made sure we told everyone that my Grandaddy picked that out for me! They were impressed. Thanks Grandaddy! I love you!

Just a Laughin'

I got so tickled today while mommy was trying to get me to play peekaboo again. She looked so funny...ya'll can't see her but she had a towel wrapped around her head. She was getting ready for the day and wrapped her wet hair up in that thing...I don't know why. But, how can a girl take a towel wrapped mama seriously? Come on, mom, what were you thinking? But it looks like it was good enough to make it to my blog, even though I didn't do exactly what she wanted. I hope you think it's as cute as mommy did!
