Go Speed Racer Go!

Okay folks, are you ready for some fast action? Last time you saw me moving on my wheely bug I was careful and cautious. But now...well now...just call me speed racer! Click to watch me go! This is definitely my new favorite toy!

Yummy Dog Food

I had the first taste of dog food the other day...and I do mean "taste." Once I put a morsel in my mouth I spit it right back out. No offense Emmett...and my dear friend Maggie...but your food is yucky! I did enjoy watching Emmett dine though. I even handed him a morsel of food that managed to sneak out of his bowl...with the help of my little hand. Emmett, I'll leave you to your food. Now I understand why you want my food so badly.

Another Step Closer!

Look at me now! The other day, daddy took me for a walk...literally. A week or so ago I would not have done this. But I'm feeling adventurous now and am ready to take the plunge. I don't go too far. . .these little legs can't take too much action yet. But I'm getting closer...

Meet Eli

Guess who I finally got to meet? Eli Robertson! Isn't he handsome? Mommy had a baby shower for Mrs. Dawn this past weekend and Eli came to celebrate...with his mommy of course! Do you remember in July when Eli was here but in his mommy's tummy? Just look at him now! He's all grown up! He didn't say much. He must've been a little shy. That's okay. I hope I get to see you again soon Eli. You're a swell guy!

A New Hobby

So I picked up a new hobby this month...coloring. But, I'm not very good at it yet. Most of the beautiful artwork you see displayed on my paper is from mommy. I had a hard time getting these things into my grip. They're made to be easy to use for little hands like mine...but I'm not so sure about that. Next time they should consult a little tyke like me when doing market research. But when I finally did get them in my grasp I had to first see how they tasted (not too good for those of you interested). I did end up making a few dot marks on my paper...nothing to impressive I'm afraid. But mommy told me to give it some time and before long she'll be hanging my artwork for all to see! Yipee!

My New Sibling

Well folks, meet my baby brosis (brother or sister). It is a little blurry but it was the best we could do. Like I said in an earlier post, we went to see the doctor last week. Mommy thought she was just 15 weeks along but it turned out after the ultrasound that she was 18 weeks! I loved going to see my new sibling. I said "baby" over and over when they were rolling that funny thing over mommy's tummy and showing us a picture on the screen. I laughed too because it was sorta funny.
We aren't finding out what it is, although we really think it's a boy. Yeah, yeah, mommy thought
I was a boy (you didn't think I could hear her calling me "little guy" when I was swimming around in there?). BUT, the ultrasound lady said she knew what it was right away. Oh and she said it was "gorgeous" (she was speaking of whatever she saw that let her know the sex) hmmm...don't know what she means there. AND when mommy and daddy went to see me in mommy's tummy, they got LOTS of pictures of me. They got some of my feet and a couple full body shots. With this one, we only got THREE pictures and none of them were below the tummy. So we speculated a few things. All that to say though, we still don't know. Maybe it will be a little sister. But it may be a little brother. Either way I know God knows what's best for me! Oh and this shot of my brosis is one of him sucking his arm. Maybe he'll be a thumb sucker like me!

Eat Your Heart Out, Don King

Well, I know you've been waiting for these newest hair photos that I said would be sure to come. Here they are. For those of you interested in how to achieve this look...look no farther than your pantry. The products used in my hair were not the expensive hair gels you see with Bed Head or other name brand products. No, the products used for this look were peanut butter and a dab of jelly. You got it, PB&J (and not even the expensive peanut butter...just the store brand). And you only need use but a dallop of each. Just get a little on your fingers, then rub gently on top of your head. Make sure it's on there. Then, get a wet paper towel and try to rub it out (don't worry...it won't come out). After that, let it dry. I took a nap to make sure nothing would bother it. I rubbed it around a bit against my bumper like I always do. Then, after it's dry and kinky looking, have someone run a come through it over and over to smooth out the little chunks that still may be leftover. Once it's combed through just stand it straight up and you'll be amazed at the style you have acheived! And at a fraction of the cost of those other hair products and salons!

On a different note, mommy, daddy, and I went to the doctor to see my baby brosis. They told mommy she was actually 18 weeks, not 15. So, that's why our ticker has changed. My new sibling is closer than I thought! We'll try to post its ultrasound picture soon! Stay tuned!

Not Again!

As you can see, I'm not too happy about mom making yet another mockery of my crazy, crazy hair. And just wait, there are more crazy hair pictures to come. . .mom just hasn't downloaded them yet! Here's a hint: Don King. This one is relatively calm compared to what you will see in a few days. I was so upset mom took this picture that I was determined NOT to smile but to give her the most unappreciative face I could muster up. And this is it. If you saw this face, wouldn't you choose to put down the camera out of sympathy?

It's Christmas Time

The other day I had to stay in my dress ALL DAY! It was Sunday you see and usually I get to get out of my dress when we get back from church. Well, not this Sunday. This Sunday we had to take some pictures for our Christmas card. We were supposed to take them after my nap but one thing led to another and before we knew it, it was 7:00 and still, no picture had been taken! Needless to say, I wasn't in the best of moods at that point because one, I had been in my dress ALL DAY and two, it was my bedtime! Then, to make matters worse, once we finally got ready for our lovely photo the batteries in the camera were running out. So, we only got about three shots. None of which I was smiling in. I mean, what was there to smile at? A camera sitting on a funny stick? Sorry guys, you're going to have to do better than that to get a smile out of me! Here is one of our family shots...you can see I'm not too amused. This one didn't make it on our card but the other one wasn't much better that did! Oh well! Good thing for Mommy I took a smiley picture earlier that day in my rocking chair by the tree. She put one similar to these on our card to make sure everyone knew I wasn't a grumpy kid. But you all know that don't you?

Trying to Help Decorate

Well, last Friday Mommy and I pulled out the Christmas decorations and started getting busy. Actually, Mommy was the busy one...I tried to be of help but got distracted with these red things...I think they're called berries. I enjoyed putting them in my mouth. I realized though really quickly that they weren't supposed to go there. One, they sure didn't taste good. Two, they were really really hard. And three, well, three of course is because Mommy pulled them out and told me, "no, no." That's the biggest reason of all I knew I wasn't supposed to put them in my mouth.

Takin' a Break

I decided to take a break from all the hard work of decorating when I found this new treat...a candy cane! I put it in my mouth and soon a sweet sensation overwhelmed my tongue. I've got to have more of this, I thought. So I sucked harder. Eventually mom peeled away something and I got an even sweeter taste in my mouth. So, needless to say, I wasn't much more help to mommy for the next few minutes. But, then again, I don't think I really was much help to begin with. Maybe next year I'll be! Until then, I'll just enjoy my candy cane!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, here we all are on the Hart side of the family. We were all able to make it for this Thanksgiving. Aunt Ash was there and the Sandersons were there. And then of course we were there. . .along with Grandma and Papa! What a crowd! It was a wonderful Thanksgiving full of good eats and lots of fun! I must say I enjoyed the pink salad the best! Grandma, you're a great cook! I hope everyone out there had a great Thanksgiving as well! Until next year...

Sleepy Head

That Aunt Melissa is a funny gal! Here she is with my new cousin, Kyle. He slept most of the time...just like I did last year for my first Thanksgiving. He's not going to believe what he missed out on when he digs in to all the delicious food next Thanksgiving! I just can't believe I slept through THAT. Until then, enjoy your restful sleep cousin Kyle....it's not always going to be like that.

Me and Mommy

There aren't too many pictures of me and Mommy...she's usually the one behind the camera. So here we are together...like we are ALL the TIME...EVERY DAY. Sorry about our not-so-photogenic faces. It was a hectic day!

I'm Ready for Some Grub!

Just look at Maggie! She's so silly! She thought that by putting on a bib she would get some Thanksgiving food too! Oh Maggie! You just crack me up (I'll try to sneak some pieces too you under the table)!

A Reunion

I was so thrilled to see that Maggie was at Grandma and Papa's house last week for Thanksgiving! I had a great time catching up with her. It sounds like she's been a busy dog these past few months! I made sure I gave her some kisses now that I know how to. She seemed to appreciate that in her own melancholy way. Good to see you again Maggie!

Playing With Allie

This past weekend mommy and I went to Birmingham to see Grandma and Papa and the Sandersons. We didn't take many photos...just these two of me playing with Allie. I had a good time playing with a big girl! Me, mommy, Aunt Melissa, Allie, Kyle, and Grandma went shopping for some clothes for us little ones. It was a blast! Kyle really just slept the whole time we were out but Allie and I hooped it up! Then we came back to Grandma and Papa's and took a long nap and then played and played some more! It was so much fun! I can't wait to see all of you guys again real soon!! I love you all!

Cruisin'

Watch me ride my wheely bug all by myself!

A Visit From Grandmama

Mommy had a doctor's appointment last week and so guess who came to stay with me?? Grandmama! Boy did we have fun! She even took me shopping for my very own pairs of shoes(We'll have to get those on camera real soon)! I just can't wait to see you again Grandmama! And you can be sure I'll be sporting my new kicks! I love you!

Mmm, Mmmm, Good!

You know what else I just LOVE to eat? Yogurt! It's right up there with peanut butter and jelly! There's nothing more satisfying when I'm hungry than a pb and j and some yogurt! What a lunch! Here I am enjoying big bites of it! I thought I'd be silly and put a little on my face for you to see. Mmm, Mmmm, Good!
