A True Southern Belle

Mommy says I look like a true Southern Belle in this wonderful hat Aunt Bethany and Uncle Tim gave me for Christmas. I'm not sure I want to look like a bell though. Now that the weather is warming up you may see me around town more in this hat of mine. I think it will do a wonderful job keeping the sun out of my eyes. It's just perfect. Thanks again Aunt Bethany and Uncle Tim!

Boy, Now He's Funny!

Mom showed me this new funny rabbit named Rae. Now let me tell you....he is funny!!! He is the first thing that really got me giggling. He just kept hopping and hopping on my belly and I got so tickled I couldn't stop laughing. He was so funny that he got mommy laughing too! Man....what a side splitter he is!! Can't wait to play again Rae!

My Serious Side

Mommy asked if I could do some serious poses since she was trying the black and white on our camera. So I said I guess I would. There's not much to say about these other than...here I am...again.

Now, Listen Here

Now listen here guys, I'm the boss. What I say, goes. Got that? I'm the boss. Mr. Yellow Horse thing...I heard you sassing me. I won't allow that Mr. Look at me in the eye so I know you are listening. Okay, I just needed to sit you down for a minute to make that clear. Now that we've got that out of the way we can proceed with our playtime.

Eat More Chikin!

This is a little shout out to mommy who hates that silly Chick-fil-A commercial where the cows steal the burgers from the little boy in the back seat. What really gets her goat is when that annoying lady says, "Yes sweetie...cooowwww." So I'm getting those cows back who were the brunt of that commerical by gnawing on my new friend...the cow. While we do love Chick-fil-A, we don't like that horrid commercial. Just watch it next time, see if she drives you crazy too!

Takin' a Break

Phew! Eating cereal is hard and exhausting work! I get so tuckered out that in between bites I suck my thumb for a little rejuvenation. It does tend to get things a little more messy and spread the cereal to my nose and sometimes to my eyes but it helps me endure this arduous task of eating! Whatever it takes right?

Flipper Slippers

My duckie slippers actually fit now...as opposed to when mommy put them on me when I was a much smaller tyke. I had so much fun in these the other day. I asked mommy if I could wear them to the grocery store too and she said she guessed I could. I thought they complemented my yellow shirt very well too. Great pick Aunt Ash...great pick!

I'm Teething

So, do you see it? See that funny white spot...that's my tooth that's coming in. We finally figured out why I have been so fussy and irritable lately...I am working out my first tooth. While I am smiling in this picture...take a look at the next one...that's how I really feel. I sure hope this teething thing gets better. I always wanted my teeth to come in but never knew it would be this bad! I'll be sure to show you my new pearly white when it decides to make it's big debut.

How Teething Makes Me Feel

Because I am teething this is often how I feel. It's not pretty. Someone told mommy that their dentist said adults couldn't handle the pain of teething. I am sure glad I won't remember this in the future. It isn't any fun at all. Please tooth, come fast.

Knee Highs

Check out these socks. I've never worn such tall socks before! I mean these are really tall...they almost touch my knees...I guess that's why they call them knee highs or knee socks. All of my short socks are about too little so we pulled these out to give them a go. Mom thought they would work okay so we kept them on...I did put my pants on for all of you who were wondering. But I found the tall socks were just as easy to pull off as the short socks. In fact, on the way to the post office yesterday I managed to pull one of my socks right off so I went to the post office with one sock on and one sock off...how silly was that? But I just like to touch my naked toes. Who can blame a girl? It just feels so good!

Almost Got It!

This is hard work! I am trying and trying to fit my whole fist into my mouth. A couple of times I have gagged myself trying to do it but I just know I can get it in there. I'll keep trying and when I do it I'll let you know. Now, I've got to get back to work...talk to you later.

Want Me to Show You What I Can Do?

Hey! Watch what I can do! I can read (well, of course with the help of Mommy)! A lot of times I will sit in my Piggy and Mommy will read a story to me. Recently, I have helped her by turning the pages, nevermind the fact that a lot of the times I skip a few pages...what can I say, I get a little impatient! Mommy told me though that in order to understand the story we have to read the WHOLE book...but that can get a little exhausting I think.

Pretty Smart Huh?

Well, while I was reading my book Mommy asked me to point to the blue shoes in the book...and well, being the smart little tyke I am...I pointed to the blue shoes as this picture shows. Pretty smart huh? Now some of you may be skeptics but the proof is in the pudding...clearly in this picture I am pointing to the blue boots....(disregard the fact I was pointing to them before she asked the question). The point is when she asked the question I was pointing to the blue boots.

Chompin

Well, I have finally started to put more things in my mouth. I wanted to show you what I do so I made Mommy get a close up of the action. See here...I just put this orange ring right into my mouth and bite down on it with my gums...are you looking? It feels really good. Mommy said as I start to teethe I will be putting more things in my mouth.

My Overalls

I was so excited to see that I could fit in my springtime overalls! They say overalls aren't in style anymore but I don't care...I think they look great and are super comfortable. I had to wear a little long sleeve undershirt with it but that's okay. Mommy took this picture when I was waking up from my nap last week. I hope I can wear this again before I get too tall!

Look What Else I Can Do!

Not only can I spin the caterpillar but I can also spin these things...I don't know what you call them but when you spin them they make different sounds. I like this one too! Thanks again Grandmamma and Grandaddy for this super gift!

Daydreamer

Here I am daydreaming of rice cereal and warm baths. I am known for my many pensive faces. Doesn't this almost look like a professional picture with the black background...provided by grandma's black shirt.

Patty Cake

When Grandma came she taught me this fun song with hand motions. Here we are playing Patty Cake...my favorite part was when we rolled the dough and when we bounced up and down! That was a lot of fun! Mommy is going to have to play that some more with me! Thanks for teaching me that song Grandma! And thanks for the wonderful visit!

Grandma Hart's Visit

Grandma came to see me again! Boy I was excited...so excited that I couldn't sleep very well! I wasn't a good napper because I knew Grandma was here and I don't see her much so I wanted to stay up and play. (Sorry the pictures a little blurry)
