Not Again!

As you can see, I'm not too happy about mom making yet another mockery of my crazy, crazy hair. And just wait, there are more crazy hair pictures to come. . .mom just hasn't downloaded them yet! Here's a hint: Don King. This one is relatively calm compared to what you will see in a few days. I was so upset mom took this picture that I was determined NOT to smile but to give her the most unappreciative face I could muster up. And this is it. If you saw this face, wouldn't you choose to put down the camera out of sympathy?

It's Christmas Time

The other day I had to stay in my dress ALL DAY! It was Sunday you see and usually I get to get out of my dress when we get back from church. Well, not this Sunday. This Sunday we had to take some pictures for our Christmas card. We were supposed to take them after my nap but one thing led to another and before we knew it, it was 7:00 and still, no picture had been taken! Needless to say, I wasn't in the best of moods at that point because one, I had been in my dress ALL DAY and two, it was my bedtime! Then, to make matters worse, once we finally got ready for our lovely photo the batteries in the camera were running out. So, we only got about three shots. None of which I was smiling in. I mean, what was there to smile at? A camera sitting on a funny stick? Sorry guys, you're going to have to do better than that to get a smile out of me! Here is one of our family shots...you can see I'm not too amused. This one didn't make it on our card but the other one wasn't much better that did! Oh well! Good thing for Mommy I took a smiley picture earlier that day in my rocking chair by the tree. She put one similar to these on our card to make sure everyone knew I wasn't a grumpy kid. But you all know that don't you?

Trying to Help Decorate

Well, last Friday Mommy and I pulled out the Christmas decorations and started getting busy. Actually, Mommy was the busy one...I tried to be of help but got distracted with these red things...I think they're called berries. I enjoyed putting them in my mouth. I realized though really quickly that they weren't supposed to go there. One, they sure didn't taste good. Two, they were really really hard. And three, well, three of course is because Mommy pulled them out and told me, "no, no." That's the biggest reason of all I knew I wasn't supposed to put them in my mouth.

Takin' a Break

I decided to take a break from all the hard work of decorating when I found this new treat...a candy cane! I put it in my mouth and soon a sweet sensation overwhelmed my tongue. I've got to have more of this, I thought. So I sucked harder. Eventually mom peeled away something and I got an even sweeter taste in my mouth. So, needless to say, I wasn't much more help to mommy for the next few minutes. But, then again, I don't think I really was much help to begin with. Maybe next year I'll be! Until then, I'll just enjoy my candy cane!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, here we all are on the Hart side of the family. We were all able to make it for this Thanksgiving. Aunt Ash was there and the Sandersons were there. And then of course we were there. . .along with Grandma and Papa! What a crowd! It was a wonderful Thanksgiving full of good eats and lots of fun! I must say I enjoyed the pink salad the best! Grandma, you're a great cook! I hope everyone out there had a great Thanksgiving as well! Until next year...

Sleepy Head

That Aunt Melissa is a funny gal! Here she is with my new cousin, Kyle. He slept most of the time...just like I did last year for my first Thanksgiving. He's not going to believe what he missed out on when he digs in to all the delicious food next Thanksgiving! I just can't believe I slept through THAT. Until then, enjoy your restful sleep cousin Kyle....it's not always going to be like that.

Me and Mommy

There aren't too many pictures of me and Mommy...she's usually the one behind the camera. So here we are together...like we are ALL the TIME...EVERY DAY. Sorry about our not-so-photogenic faces. It was a hectic day!

I'm Ready for Some Grub!

Just look at Maggie! She's so silly! She thought that by putting on a bib she would get some Thanksgiving food too! Oh Maggie! You just crack me up (I'll try to sneak some pieces too you under the table)!

A Reunion

I was so thrilled to see that Maggie was at Grandma and Papa's house last week for Thanksgiving! I had a great time catching up with her. It sounds like she's been a busy dog these past few months! I made sure I gave her some kisses now that I know how to. She seemed to appreciate that in her own melancholy way. Good to see you again Maggie!

Playing With Allie

This past weekend mommy and I went to Birmingham to see Grandma and Papa and the Sandersons. We didn't take many photos...just these two of me playing with Allie. I had a good time playing with a big girl! Me, mommy, Aunt Melissa, Allie, Kyle, and Grandma went shopping for some clothes for us little ones. It was a blast! Kyle really just slept the whole time we were out but Allie and I hooped it up! Then we came back to Grandma and Papa's and took a long nap and then played and played some more! It was so much fun! I can't wait to see all of you guys again real soon!! I love you all!

Cruisin'

Watch me ride my wheely bug all by myself!

A Visit From Grandmama

Mommy had a doctor's appointment last week and so guess who came to stay with me?? Grandmama! Boy did we have fun! She even took me shopping for my very own pairs of shoes(We'll have to get those on camera real soon)! I just can't wait to see you again Grandmama! And you can be sure I'll be sporting my new kicks! I love you!

Mmm, Mmmm, Good!

You know what else I just LOVE to eat? Yogurt! It's right up there with peanut butter and jelly! There's nothing more satisfying when I'm hungry than a pb and j and some yogurt! What a lunch! Here I am enjoying big bites of it! I thought I'd be silly and put a little on my face for you to see. Mmm, Mmmm, Good!

Helping Unload the Dishwasher

This really isn't the picture either of us wanted to show you. But it will have to do. You see, just minutes before, I was standing at the dishwasher. I was holding on for as long as I could for mommy to snap a shot but she just didn't get there in time. These little legs of mine just couldn't handle the pressure. So here's the after shot.

A Lovely Afternoon

Mommy took me and CJ outside the other afternoon. It was a little windy so mommy made us put our hoods up. It was a lot of fun. I tried to eat some grass but mommy told me I wasn't a cow. I guess cows eat grass? You don't really see CJ because he's always up and moving. As for me, I like to just sit on the blanket and enjoy the view. So that allowed for these few shots.

PBandJ: The Key to The Chub Club

I haven't talked lately about the Chub Club. Mainly because I just didn't think I would ever make it in with all of my past efforts. However, I have found that I LOVE PB and J! What does that have to do with the Chub Club? Well, did I tell you I love it so much that I can eat a WHOLE PB and J by myself? Mommy says I feel heavier already! So at this rate...I may be the president of the Chub Club before long! I'll keep you posted. Until then, enjoy these shots of me stuffing my face with my new favorite food!

Tug Of War

Now that I'm bigger, I can play more with Emmett. CJ helps me get to his toys. He's so tall that he can reach his toy basket on the shelf and pull out everything. Then I grab some and entice Emmett with some wild play! Here we are playing tug of war. And, as you can see by the last photo, I came out on top! Who would've thought a shrimp like me could wrestle this rope from a ferocious animal like Emmett?? I'm proud of my accomplishments I must admit. Poor Emmett just doesn't know what he's up against these days.

And Now, For My Latest Trick

Who's the big girl now? I decided to surprise mommy again by welcoming her into my room the proper way, standing up! I think she got a big kick out of it...I mean she did kind of squeal when she saw me...and I squeal when I get a big kick out of something. Even Emmett was impressed with my new trick. He wondered how I grew so tall so fast. And, now that I can stand up, I enjoy looking out the window by my crib when mommy is a little slow getting to me. There always seems to be cars and people outside. This will definitely be helpful in keeping me entertained on mommy's slower days.

It Still Fits...Well, Kinda

The other day mommy was cleaning out my top drawer. She found this little hat I wore in the hospital when I was born. So, being the crazy mom she is, she decided to see if it would still fit. Man, was that frustrating! She pulled that thing so tightly over my head that I thought my eyeballs were going to pop out (thankfully they didn't)! This was the best shot she could get because as soon as that thing went on my head I grabbed it to pull it right back off. I was glad to see that mommy put it with the other things to be packed away. Hopefully, I won't be seeing that thing again!

Say Cheese!

It's been awhile since we've done a little photo shoot. So mom decided to do one today with my newest trick..standing...kind of. At first we had a lot of fun doing it. I gave Mommy some cute faces and silly faces but then I started getting weak in the knees. I didn't know how much longer I could hold up. I tried to rest my head for a moment...thinking mommy would get the hint that I was wearing out and my pencil-like legs were about to give out any minute. But I don't think she got the hint because she just kept snapping away. Until finally I just let out my pathetic cry. It was all I had left before I plummeted to the ground. Thankfully, she got the hint and helped my down to my bottom. Phew, now that I'm getting older, mommy is asking a lot more of me in these photo shoots of her's. I don't know if I can keep up!

I've Got Your Back

What do I say about these pictures? They're pictures of our backs....needless to say really. But Mommy insisted we put them on the blog. She made me and Mac stand together for one photo but Mac was so taken by the remote that this was the best we could do. What's with guys and the remote anyways? I mean CJ is enthralled by them too! I don't get the hype. Maybe I'm missing something. So here we are, backs and all. Hope you like it!

Reading to Mac

Well, today I was trying to read to Mac but he just didn't seem interested. He was taken by the camera I suppose. To be honest, I don't even notice it anymore as it has become a staple in our every day lives. But Mac does and so Mommy was taking Mac's attention away from me. I wanted to show him the birds and the cows on the page. I can even point to the cows now and say "booo." I think Mommy says it a little different when she makes the noise for the cow but I can't quite get the hang of that. So for now, I'll say "booo." She knows what I mean.

Look What I Can Do!

Hey guys, look what I did all by myself! Mommy left the room for a minute so I thought I would surprise her by standing up all on my own by the stairs. Usually I just stand half way on the bottom step but today I was feeling adventurous and decided to step it up a notch! And so I did. And the smile on Mommy's face made it worth it! She was so proud of me! I can't wait to do it again!
