Grandma and Her Girls

Her we are with Grandma. Allie is so active this was the best picture we could get with all three of us! I wasn't quite ready for the shot but it had to do because Allie was back on the go right after we took it! That's okay! I'm just glad to have a shot with Allie and Grandma and ME! CHEESE!

Playing with Allie

So here I am with Allie. She was so nice to let me play with some of her new toys she got for her birthday (keep reading to find out more about her big day). She got Mater from the movie Cars and she was so nice to share him with me. She also gave me a big hug as you can see from one of the pictures (oh and mommy told me to tell you to ignore her crazy face in the background...she didn't know she was in that shot!). Oh and did I tell you Aunt Melissa is pregnant with her second? She will have him or her in September...just like me! Wow! I can't wait to meet him or her (they didn't find out what they are having...I like that because I got to surprise mommy and daddy when I came out...it's fun for us little guys to do that and see the surprise on our parents' faces!) Allie, I sure had a blast playing with you and I can't wait to come to your next party. I should be more mobile then!

Happy Birthday Allie!

Saturday, May 5th was Allie's second birthday. Mommy said last time we celebrated Allie's birthday I was growing in her tummy. Did you know you get a cake for your birthday? It looks SO good. This is Allie's cake. She loves the movie Cars so she got a Cars birthday cake. I didn't get a taste of the cake but daddy gave me a little lick of the chocolate icecream they served with it and boy was that something else! I would love to have some more! Mommy and Daddy also gave me a little lick of the watermelon they had for lunch. That was quite tasty too! What a time I had at the party! As you can see from the picture...Allie really enjoyed her cake too! Happy Birthday Allie and thanks for letting me come to your party!

Allie's Trike

Look at what Grandma and Papa got Allie for her birthday...a tricycle! Looks like a lot of fun to me! She seemed to be enjoying it. Aunt Ash had to give her a few pointers before she could really take off. But it seemed to help. Man...I can't wait for my birthday. These really seem to be a lot of fun!

Three Generations of Girls

Here I am with Mommy and Grandma. That's three generations of girls mommy said! This is at Allie's party too. I am eyeballing Grandma's food and wondering if I could get a quick sneak of some of that delicious food that mommys says I'm too little to have. Nobody is looking. For those of you who weren't there...I didn't get it....maybe next time.

One on One with Papa

While we were in Birmingham I had some good one on one time with Papa. I enjoyed sitting with him. I was very comfortable. He played some games with me and I really liked that. He kept getting my toes and I thought that was funny too!! We had such a good time together, didn't we Papa?

Having Fun

I sat in my new booster seat for over an hour today while mommy took pictures of me. I didn't fuss a bit either because I had so much fun! If you keep reading you will see what I mean. I did all sorts of things in my big girl seat!

Splish Splash

Mommy wanted me to practice drinking out of my sippy cup and while I tried my best to get it into my mouth and have it stay there...I didn't do a good job. Most of the water landed on my booster seat. But boy did that make for some fun! I loved splashing my hands in the water and seeing it go everywhere! It even got on mommy! But she didn't care. She just laughed too!

Loving the Sippy Cup

Mom is trying to move me toward the sippy cup. As you can tell from the photos above...I didn't do too well getting the water into my mouth but I had a good time chewing on it and banging it around. I banged it so hard that sometimes it went right onto the floor! But the water was a blast to play in...like I said earlier!

My Little Hand

Mommy was in a creative mood today and took some different kinds of shots..such as this one with my hand. She said she thought it was cute how it was gripped ever so slightly onto the edge of my booster seat.

Daddy's Feet

Mommy says I have Daddy's feet. She took some shots of them today. See how my big toe can go vertical while the others stay flat? I inherited that from my daddy. My toes are kind of shaped like mommy's while the spacing and flexibility I get from daddy. Isn't that neat? I love how I am part of both of my parents. God is neat like that!

For some reason mommy thought it was really cute how my feet dangled from my new booster seat (read a few entries down to hear about my new booster seat). So she decided to take some black and white shots.

No More Peas Please

Mommy said she and daddy aren't pea fans. I think I will join them on that one. Although, mommy keeps insisting that I eat them. I just turn my head. No thanks mom. They are just like you said...nasty! You thought I couldn't understand you when you said that. Well, I did. And I won't go down without putting up a fight. Once I had time to let the taste settle in my mouth it was clear...no more peas for me please! I would much rather wear them on my face than swallow them! That's going to be the plan from now on when it comes to the peas.

What, Is There Something On My Face?

Well I opened my mouth like I usually do to give these so called peas a chance. I feel like mommy is staring at me. Is something on my face? It does feel a little different around my mouth.

Peas Anyone?

Today was my first day eating peas. . .whatever those are. Mommy said something about them being nasty while she was fixing them for me to eat. What does nasty mean? Here I am giving them a chance. I have done well with my other veggies so hopefully these will be just as good. Open wide!

Wow! I feel like such a big girl now that I can eat at the table with mom and dad! I finally can sit up well enough to eat in my booster seat. I really like it. Thanks Aunt Dani and Aunt Bethany for this gift!! I just love it (As you can tell from all the previous pictures!)!

Since we had such a great response to the pictures with me and Maggie we thought....why not pull out some more for our readers' enjoyment?! So here you go....I hope you enjoy these two as well! It's a Bird...It's a Plane....It's HANNAH!

Well, I am learning all sorts of new moves on my stomach. Here I am trying to be a bird. Mommy does often call me her little bird. I don't know why though! So I thought I might practice being a bird. Mommy said that she was impressed I could do that without much strain. She said she would be in tears if she did that as long as I did! Well, what can I say...I have been training quite a bit...and it seems to be paying off!

Road Trip

Well, mommy and I drove to Statesboro last week to visit Aunt Ash and Maggie! We had such a good time! I really love my Aunt Ashley and I am so happy she let us stay for a few days. It was very relaxing and I had my first ever experience at McAlister's...one of mommy's favorite places to eat. We also got to see some of the fun sights of Statesboro..including the building where Ash works! Thanks for letting us come and stay!

Me and Maggie

Hey Guys! I bet you didn't know that Maggie makes a great pillow....and a good friend! She was very nice to let me lay on her! I do love a good cuddle! I don't know that she was too excited about it...I think it was more like she was annoyed more than anything but she was a good sport and let me have my fun. Maggie, if you're reading this, I sure had a good time with you and I just can't wait to see you again!

Comin' Over to Play

Look who came over to play with me the other day....Ellie!! We had a good time together although a few tears were shed (continue reading and you will soon see what I mean). I can't wait until she comes again!!

Talk to the Hand

I was trying to tell Ellie something but she put her hand in my face to get me quiet because it was time for a picture. As her hand was in front of my face I thought, hmmm, I wonder what that would taste like? So I gave it a go.

She is SO Funny!

I sure wish you guys could understand Ellie because man is she funny! I just can't stop laughing. I mean, my side is just killing from all of her funny jokes!

Bam!

I was trying to show Ellie a new move and I accidentally got her in the eye. She didn't like it too much. Who knew I could pack such a mean punch? Guess my training is really working!

Here we are again. Ellie is getting back at me for the punch I threw. I'm trying to get my hands ready to defend myself. Boy, are our mommies going to have their hands full in a few months!

My First Birthday Party

So last week I got to go to my first birthday party! My buddy Samuel from church turned one and I was invited to the big shin dig! It was outside so mommy made me wear my shades and my hat to protect myself from the sun. I am holding his present we got him. He got some shades and books...some of my favorite things! The party was a blast. I can't wait to go to Allie's birthday next weekend!

Look Who's Rolling Now!

Everybody, I have a big announcement to make. On Thursday, April 19th, 2007, I, Hannah Elizabeth Harman, ROLLED OVER! Now, unfortunatley we do not have a photo at this time to document this milestone, but, mark my word, I did it! Here's how it went down: Mommy was getting ready and I was laying on the floor kicking around like I usually do. Suddenly, I found myself on my side and I got there pretty easily. So, I tried again with a little more force. Mommy was talking to me while fixing her hair but I wasn't listening. I was focused on this roll. Well, before I knew it, I was on my stomach! Mommy turned to me to finish talking and lo and behold there I was propped up on my arms, stomach to the ground. What I heard next frightened me....she screamed so loudly and shouted...Hannah, you rolled over! Well, of course mommy, how else do you think I got here?! She actually didn't see me do it but I did and I can't wait to do it again and catch in on the camera!

Sunglasses Model Anyone?

Does anyone need a sunglasses model? Mommy got these for me when we were shopping the other day. I just LOVE them. A lot of people told mommy that I would just pull them off but I proved them wrong. I enjoy them and the nice pink tint they paint the world with. I tried them out the other day when we ran some errands and I kept them on the whole time...even inside the grocery store! We were gone for at least an hour! Mommy even caught me just sucking my thumb and looking at the new world around me caused by these super shades in my carseat while she was driving. Oh and I even put them on the top of my head like mommy so often does with her sunglasses. I feel like such a big girl! Oh and check out the sides of these beauties...just like a flower with the stem and all! How clever!!
