September 11th

Yesterday Mommy and I made a flag in honor of September 11th. We don't have a flag to hang outside so Mommy decided we would make one for a craft. Mommy helped me do a lot of it. I put a lot of the sticker stars on and then colored a lot of the blue and some of the red (can you tell where I colored). We hung it on our front door. Mommy says a lot of people were hurt that day. So I will gladly hang my flag outside to remember all of those families.

this is really sweet, jess. my parents taught me a lot, but one of the things they skipped out on was patriotism. it is so important that our kids love their country, no matter how screwed up it is. i am glad you are starting early!

What a great idea, Jess! And what a great way to honor all those people and their families!
